New Years Eve 2010

Wow! This year just flew by! Kinda sad, but excited to see what this coming year has to bring.

Tonight we headed to kaneohe to my Bachan's (great grandma) house to roll sushi for the new year. It's a tradition we haven been doing for I don't know how long.

We didn't pop any fireworks this year, but that's ok. The kids had more fun playing with their cousins. Better than going outside and breathing in all that smoke. =/

Ahhhhh.....One Week!

One week until Christmas! >_<

Honestly, it doesn't even feel like christmas.......at all. We have a tree, which is dying....I haven't even made our christmas cards.....ugh.

I'm still trying to finish up all my handmade presents. I still need to mail my niece and nephew's gifts too. We always send their gifts late. I have a feeling it's gonna be late again this year. =/

Bubba is on winter break, so at least i'll get to spend more time with him. I know Mimi and him are gonna drive me nuts though. But that's what kids do right? lol! :P

Anyway, I can't believe the year is almost over. It'd crazy how this year just flew by. O_o


Well, I have a busy week ahead of me.

Mimi's Bday & Craft Fair

My baby girl turned 3 years old on the 3rd! :D She is getting so big (and sassy). Time is just flying by! O_o
We just had a family dinner to celebrate her birthday. Mommy was stressing because I made the cake last minute and it didn't turn out how I wanted it to, but she loved it. That's all that matters. :)

So.... The Craft Fair is over. It was a small one. Not too much traffic. But I think I did OK for my first one. :)
I would like to do another one, but I don't think right away. That took a lot of my time and stressed me out. lol! >_<

Quick Update

I got my GE License! :D Yay. Now I don't have to worry about not having it for the craft fair. lol.
This past week has been pretty busy. Sewing....Thanksgiving...More Sewing.
The craft fair is 1 week away and i'm not even sure if I have enough inventory made. I've just been trying to sew as much as I can. =/
I still need to get a table cloth and make price signs and figure out how i'm gonna set up my table. >_<

Ok...back to sewing. O_o

Blah...

The lady who invited me to participate in the craft fair emailed me yesterday (it's 12:47am) letting me know about how the state is cracking down on craft fair vendors and businesses who don't have GE tax licenses and the proper documents. GREAT! >_<
She doesn't think they're gonna come and check out this one since it's so small, but I know I should get it anyway. I'm gonna go down to the office and fill out an application. Hopefully they can process it right away. =/ If they can't, I'm gonna have to pull out of the craft fair. So....fingers crossed! >_<

Tomorrow is Sunday. Church. Yay. =)

I think I'm gonna go to BF and buy emulsion sheets for my YuDu. My first time failed because it didn't fully dry on the screen. =/ It takes more than 20 minutes like the direction says. It could take up to 45 minutes to and hour like some tutorials online says. Blah.... $22.00 for two sheets. Then $5.99 for blank shirts. Sooo expensive! >_<

creative thinking....

So...I'm trying to think of new things to make for the craft fair, which is 2 weeks from now. I make things for both Mommy and Child, but I think I need more things for Mommy. =/ I have "Boo Boo Baggies" for the purse or diaper bag, Giant Bookmarks/Paper Clips, Mini Key Fobs and a couple Zipper Pouches and Pin Cushions.

What else can I make that isn't already out there? Maybe a few tote bags? Ipod touch and Ipad cozies? Tooth Fairy PIllows? Hmm....any ideas?? =/

Just a few things...

Made a few things yesterday (it's now 1:18am =/) for the craft show on December 4. I think I was sewing for 5 or 6 hours. >_< More sewing tomorrow, and i'm gonna try and play around on how i'm gonna do the packaging on some of my items.

Anyway, I can't sleep. Like always. =/ I would sew, but I don't wanna wake up my neighbors. My sewing machine is in desperate need of some maintenance. Poor thing squeaks and it's soo loud. I need to take it in before it breaks or something. :(

No kids today. That means it's sewing time! Getting ready for a Craft Fair I will be participating in on December 4. I only have 2 weeks to get everything sewn and organized. I don't even know how i'm gonna set up my table yet. =/

Well, I better get crackin'. Gotta whip up some cute things. :)
