As you know (or should know), there are "LOVE JAPAN" items in my Etsy shop that you can purchase and 100% of the proceeds will go to help those who were devestated from the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. I also have a few of my regular items, and 50% of the proceeds will go to help them.

{Made by Me} Monday

[Made by Me] Monday - Coin Purses & a Bat Zombie

Tonight I made a bunch of coin purses.

Made a few "Love Japan" coin purses for the Etsy shop. The letters didn't come out how I wanted them to, but I guess it adds a grungy look to it.




I also made coin purses for Bub and Mimi. They collect loose change they find around the house and G-Ma told them to ask mommy to make coin purses for them. So I did. :P






Whenever I sew, the kids always ask me to make them something. So tonight I told Bub to draw something and I would try and make it. So he did. He drew a "Bat Zombie". And mommy had to create it. LOL! >_<

Hey.......it came out pretty good. The wings are a little big though. =/




Mimi wants a kangaroo. Hmmm.....we'll see how that turns out. O_o

Finally...

So, I finally got my Yudu working. I was having a little trouble when I first got it because the emulsion wasn't completely dry before I burnt my image and when I went to rinse it out, the emulsion started coming off.
So if you are trying this for the first time, make sure the emulsion is completely dry. (when you peel of the clear backing, it should come off really easy and I reccommend drying it again.)

If you love screenprinting, invest in a Yudu machine.
It is easy and soo much fun! :)

ID Badge Reels && Mini Key Fobs

I've been busy adding things to the shop.
A bunch of Retractable ID Badge Reels and Mini Key Fobs. :)
I will be adding more zipper pouches and hopefully some items for baby by this weekend.







I'm totally stressing with the kids, taxes and trying to get everything organized I have yet to begin one of my new years resolutions. Can you guess what it is? Lose __lbs. >_<"
It's my fault though. I'm such a procrastinator and sooo lazy. Plus I fell and sprained my ankle and it isn't 100% yet. It's been about a week and a half, maybe I should get it checked out. =/

Anyway, how are you guys doing on your new years resolutions?

Slackin'...

So.....I've been slackin' here on the blog. =/


This week has been exciting. LOL! >_<"

I sprained my ankle last week saturday but it's finally getting better. It still aches and it doesn't have it's full flexibilty when I walk, but I made it to church on sunday (with crutches) and bible study wednesday night.
The devil is not gonna keep me down! :D

As for the shop, I just added a couple zipper pouches the other day and I plan to add more by the end of next week. I've been trying to think of new things to add, so we'll see how that goes.



What has everyone else been doing? Sewing or crafting anything new lately?

Oh, I'll be having a Valentine's Day Giveaway in February, so stay tuned for that! :)
