Hello there...

The weather still sucks here in Hawaii.

There was a little sunshine yesterday, but it seems that there

is another storm system passing over and we will continue to have

rain and winds for the next couple of days.

This weather better clear up soon!

Spring break started and I wanna do some fun things with

the kids, and not be stuck in the house all week. =/

Today I had some "girl time" with my mom.

You know what that means........shopping! lol!

We went to a uniform store to get some scrubs for her,

then we went to one of my favorite thrift stores.

I found some cute things. I'll probably post them later.

Gonna go have a cup to tea. Bye.

Bad Weather

I really hate the weather we are having here in Hawaii.

How's the weather like now?

Flash flood warnings, severe thunder storm watch. :(

Oh, just saw some lightning. The thunder literally vibrates the whole house.

Mimi and I are cuddled on the couch watching

"The Perils of Penelope Pitstop" on boomerang.

Gonna make a cup of green tea with honey.

Free Day

Today I got to relax a bit and clean house.

Finally got to fold the baskets of clothes that was just sitting on the living room floor. (I hate folding clothes, lol.)

I swear, the kids and I have too much clothes! The dirty pile just seems to keep growing no matter how much loads I wash! >_<"

I think it's time to do a little spring cleaning..... Out with the old, No more new! LOL! At least for awhile.


Bub has a 4 day weekend. That means more time with mommy. :)

He has a soccer game on saturday and I wanna take the kids to the zoo maybe on sunday, so hopefully the weathers perks up. It's been extremely windy and rainy on and off this past week or so. Junk. >_<

8.9 Japan Earthquake & Tsunami

What a night/morning. >_<"

Everyone here in hawaii was on alert from the tsunami warning when an 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck of the east coast of Japan.

Long lines of cars trying to fill their vehicles with gas and people rushing to buy water and other necessities.

First wave hit Hawaii a little after 3am, but there was no huge wave action. Just water receeding and coming back in. At the Diamond Head lookout, the reef was exsposed as fas as 100 yards. Some part of Hawaii were hit the most. Like Maui and the Big Island.

The "All Clear" has been given for Hawaii a little over an hour ago. But cautioning all beach-goers to stay out of the water due to unpredictable wave action.

I just thank God that it wasn't worse, but I am praying for those people in Japan, who took it the hardest. :(

How was everyone's friday?

My friday was spent at home. Folded the basket of clothes from the dyrer...played and took a nap with Mimi. :P


It was raining off and on today. It was storming last night! Strong wind and huge drops of rain woke us up around 3:30am. I didn't go back to sleep until after 4am. Ugh... >_<"

The Ewa side of the island didn't have power today after 15 utility poles crashed down early this morning, and some parts still don't. What makes everything worse is that HECO (Hawaiian Electric Company) workers went on strike today knowing there are hundreds of people without electricity. >_<"

I feel bad for the people who are suffering because of this and I just thank God that we still have power over here.

I pray tomorrows weather is all sunshine because Bub has a soccer game in the morning. I think he'll be disappointed if his game is canceled. We'll see......(fingers crossed).
