Hello.

It's been awhile. :)

I caught a cold this weekend, but still managed to take

the kids to the beach on friday. We've been going to the beach

every weekend for the past few weeks. We usually go on saturday or sunday,

but since it's a holiday weekend, we decided to go on friday.

Plus, every friday they have fireworks. So the kids were excited about that. :)

My uncle bought a paddle board, and now I am totally addicted!
Even the kids are getting into it. :)
It's so much fun! Hehehe...

How's your weekend going so far?

The kids and I stayed home from church today. Bummed about that,
but it's better than getting other people sick with my germs.

I need a Vitamin C IV, but maybe a cold buster from Jamba Juice will do. :)

Feeling Sew Happy

It's been awhile since I've sewn anything.

So, today I made a circle skirt for Mimi using this knit flat sheet

I got from the thrift store. I'm also planning on making PJ pants

for Bub with this material since he loves Pokemon. :)

Oh, and I found this Reisenthel's Mother Child Tote Bag

online and I thought it was a great idea, so I immediately

thought, "Hey, I can make that myself."

So here is my version of the Mommy Shopping Tote Bag. :)

I used canvas for the outside and this super cute "miffy" fabric

for the lining, and handles I got from the thrift store awhile back.

There is also a little zipper pocket inside. 

I also hand drew a "miffy" on the front of the bag. :)

I think it came out awesome!! Hehehe...I love it.

Super Moon

So, did you gets get a good look at the "super moon" last night?

It didn't look all that super from my house....lol. 

I tried taking a picture with my camera phone, which came out crappy.

I couldn't find the battery for my digital camera, but the picture wouldn't

have come out that great either without a super zoom lens...lol. >_<

I've seen pictures online from other people and their shots of the

moon were amazing! Go look at some MOON pictures!

Oh, and I played with the different filters/effects on my phone and
