Last Week of Summer.

This is the last week of summer.

Bub goes back to school on August 1.

Bummer. :( It seemd like summer just flew by!

I haven't had too much time with just me and the kids since I've been watching my little cousin this summer. So this week is all about US. :)

Planning on doing something fun everyday this week.

Today we went to the Honolulu Zoo with daddy after church.

It was hot, but the kids had a good time.

After we stoped at Waiola Shave Ice for a yummy treat. :)

Dalmations are still #1 though. lol. :)

I made her a peasant top. It came out sorta on the big side.

But she'll grow into it. Right? Hehehe...

Yesterday's Sewing

Yesterday I made two purse organizers for my sisters.

I also made a drawtring tote bag (bento bag) for a lady from my church.

I had left over fabric, so I made her a zipper pouch too. (not pictured)

Something for myself...

Most of the time I sew clothes for Mimi. I've made a couple things for myself in the past, but I never really liked the outcome.

I made a dress for myself last week. It came out cute.

I added the belt and and threw on a cardigan. Cute and simple.

I actually wore it to church too. :)

I'll hopefully be making more items for my closet in the near future. :)

Totoro Crazy

So.....who else is obsessed with Totoro??

Here is a picture from the movie.



The kids have been asking to watch the movie, and daddy finally bought it last week.

So, we've been watching it for the past three nights. lol! It is such a cute movie. Even I love it. :P

Today I decided to try and sew Chibi Totoro (the small white one). I think it came out pretty cute. The only problem is that the kids keep fighting over it. >_<
